Tony's is just as good, if not better, than people already say! Everyone here is nice, friendly, and provides excellent customer service. I came in today for them to inspect a new used car I just bought. They inspected it for free and told me the rear brakes are at 50%. They didn't talk down to me either, being a woman, so I really appreciate that as I understand cars. While in the office, other customers told me this is the only place they bring their cars for honest, reliable service.

This is the 2nd time I’ve took my nissian Altima 2012 , to Tony’s , they are the ONLY shop I will use and I live in Tennessee. And work in Lexington so technically in my opinion they are better than any of the Tennessee mechanics I’ve been to . Tonys is trust worthy and that’s the reason I’ve herd so many people bragging it’s priceless to find a trustworthy shop. Im so glad i know about them now. Because when my car messed up this time I didn’t have to worry oh no where do I take it ? Or what if they rip me off. Because I had a shop first stop auto shop or something mess my car up before and I took them to court and won. YOU NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT KIND of thing at Tony’s and I’m so thankful .

With two students in college there in Lexington and me 175 miles away, it was sure comforting to find a trustworthy repair shop to take care of their vehicles.
Tony’s worked my 2012 GMC into their schedule on the day that I called and were able to have it back to my daughter the next day. The problems were fixed and the price was fair. Not much else you can ask for - I truly appreciate their service.

I chose this shop because of their reputation for honesty and quality, but my experience didn’t match that.
I went in for a thermostat replacement and was charged $475, including $280 in labor based on “book time”. However, after picking up my vehicle, I noticed the coolant reservoir was empty and had to refill it myself before driving.
Since the level has remained stable, it raises concern that the cooling system may not have been properly filled or checked before returning the vehicle. That’s something I feel should be part of a completed repair, especially when dealing with engine cooling components.
I’m sharing this so others double-check their vehicle before leaving after service

I felt compelled to write a second review, years later after my intitial one, they are my go to mechanics. These guys are a major asset to have in your corner. Tony is a guy that gets stuff done, no mechanic in my hometown had an inkling of what was wrong with my vehicle. I called Tony, told him of the challenge, and he seemed to relish the opportunity and took an immediate interest in my struggle. Tony went on to state "get the car towed here and if we can't fix it, I will personally have it towed to the dealership", that is how much he stands behind his garage. No other place in a million years would give such an offer. Of course, they fixed my issue no problem and I don't have enough good things to say about them. Go here if you want the problem with your vehicle to actually be fixed by a garage that takes great interest and pride in their work. Tony, Angel and the rest of the gang are the best there is. Thanks guys!
