Why have we waited this long to dine here? The space is beautiful. Great decor. Comfortable seating. Warm and inviting. Plus it’s in a really cool building. The food was amazing. One of the best burgers in town. We got the specialty peach burger, but I can’t imagine the regular burger isn’t just as good. The fries - again - some of the best in town. We will be back - hopefully multiple times. Great addition to Lexington.

Really enjoyed this place. The seating outside was fantastic. On a beautiful fall Kentucky day. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious.

Beautiful restaurant! Ambience was top notch!! Beautiful and calming. Food was also delicious. Tasty and well presented. We didn’t get what we ordered, but it was delicious nonetheless. Service was fairly disappointing though. Hostess was excellent, but waitress could have improved in many ways. Maybe she was just tired and wanted to get out, or maybe she could have spent less time giggling with her friends back there while pointing at guests!!! Anyways, it was not a good experience. Her attitude made us feel like an annoyance not guests, service was not timely nor was it attentive or even caring, wrong items were brought out to the table, it wasn’t even prepped per order specs… Not to be too critical (which maybe we should be given the price tags and scale of the restaurant) but it was a series of issues with that waitress (and she was a little too comfortable with how bad she was). Hope the service improves to match everything else that is so great about this place. Thank you!

I love it when Google's Local Gems turns up a place like this! Traveling through with only a brief Lexington stop, we felt very lucky indeed to find this place! A tremendous and beautifully appointed restaurant in an old repurposed schoolhouse was elegant and calming. The food was fantastic - a lunch that really made me want to come back for dinner. Hopefully next trip! The prime rib sandwich was excellent with wonderful prime rib and elevated by the baguette. The heirloom tomato salad was seasonal excellence with house made mozzarella that was a perfect cross between mozz and burrata - the added grilled shrimp were perfect with it.

We enjoyed dinner with friends on the first night the patio opened for the 2026 season.The patio was perfect! We had Paloma and Black Manhattan cocktails, the Kentucky board appetizer, the chicken gnocchi and filet entrees, rolls and honey brussel sprouts. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our server was delightful and the staff was kind and attentive.
