The owner was great, she was so so inviting and friendly, the waiters/waitresses, and hostesses/hosts, everyone was so kind. The food was out of this world and the service was impeccable! 10/10 we will absolutely be back.

I was not expecting much when I came here with a friend but the experience was just unmatched. We were told the restaurant is kind of inspired by Charleston, SC, and my friend said they did a pretty good job (she is from CHS). Our server (Jojo? I’m so sorry I forgot his name) was so funny and knowledgeable on everything about the food, place, etc. He instantly made us feel welcome, and gave us some great recommendations. The oysters were amazing! As well as the Dubai Chocolate Martini!! So so good 15/10 experience.

This was our first experience at Carson's Back Porch. The deviled eggs appetizer were delicious with a lovely creamy texture. The hush puppies were crispy and the honey bourbon drizzle was delightful paired with the cinnamon sugar butter. We had the warm bacon salad and sea bass as our entrees and they were both top notch. The salad was well dressed without being over done and the bacon was just perfectly crisp. The sea bass was tender over the smoothest of pomme puree and grilled asparagus. Our server Jelani was fantasticly attentive while providing space for us to socialize. Can't wait to go back.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very elegant and cozy. I love that it isn't super loud inside the restaurant, so you can speak to each other in a normal volume. We ate there for dinner on May 26th and our server, K (I will only use the first initial for privacy's sake), was not great. She was very nice, but she told me they offered a non-alcoholic espresso martini. I was brought a fruity looking drink, so I told that person I ordered the NA espresso martini, and they said they would bring that. After waiting for 20 minutes, someone else came to the table with other drinks so I asked about mine, and he stated they don't offer that drink as an NA option. He gave me the NA drink list, but I didn't like any of the options, so I just drank water. Our waitress finally came back to the table after about 30 minutes. She continued to be MIA for long periods of time after that and never even refilled our water pitcher; another server did. I know that when a restaurant is newly open there are some kinks to work out, so I understand the drink issue. I just think it could have been addressed better. I don't understand, however, a restaurant of this quality having servers who aren't attentive. I'm generally easy to please and I tipped 20%, but I would've tipped better for great service. If I'm going to pay the prices they charge, I want my service to be better than what I would get at a Chili's.
