Old School Coffee

Old School Coffee is easily one of my favorite coffee shops in Lexington. I first came here when I was looking for a place to study off campus, and now I’ve been back multiple times. The atmosphere is super cute and cozy, and it has way more personality than a normal chain coffee shop. I’ve come here with my roommate to study before a busy week of classes, and it was the perfect place to sit for a few hours, get work done, and still be able to talk and relax. The employees have always been really nice every time I’ve gone, and the drinks have always been good too. I also love that it feels like a real part of Lexington and has its own unique vibe. It’s a great place to study, hang out with friends, or just grab coffee. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Old School Coffee is an amazing coffee shop located right next to the University of Kentucky campus. It is about a ten-minute walk away from my dorm room, which makes it nice. The coffee I get there is always super good. The line is always quick, and it does not take them long to prepare your food or drinks. The staff are so kind and helpful every time I go in there. I also love the theme inside of the café. It is an “old school” themed and there is a bunch of things like school bells and antique items around the store which makes it really cute. This has definitely been the place where I have been getting my coffee since moving to Lexington. It is so good!

Plenty of housemate syrups, I tried and really enjoyed a blueberry latte and we also tried the brown sugar cold brew. We enjoyed our drinks and the option of outside seating. Aesthetic interior and cool to see as someone visiting from out of town.

Old school coffee has fine coffee, the treats were actually pretty tasty as well. In my opinion the coolest thing about this place was the location. It located in an old remodeled school that has been remodeled with excellent taste and charm.

Adorable! Loved all of the old school additions in the shop. The tea was so refreshing and I didn’t even get a picture of the oatmeal cream pie cookie because I ate it so fast!! Must stop shop!!
