Plenty of housemate syrups, I tried and really enjoyed a blueberry latte and we also tried the brown sugar cold brew. We enjoyed our drinks and the option of outside seating. Aesthetic interior and cool to see as someone visiting from out of town.

Adorable! Loved all of the old school additions in the shop. The tea was so refreshing and I didn’t even get a picture of the oatmeal cream pie cookie because I ate it so fast!! Must stop shop!!

Had a fabulous time at this coffee shop while in Lexington over the weekend. We ordered carryout but I was so fascinated with the place and people we sat and just watched. We chatted it up with Troy and watched as Kaylee prepared drinks. I've been looking for an indigo tea and tasted the Butterfly tea base and ooh lala! Not only was it refreshing, it was a palate cleanser and really made the flavors in my latte POP! Or maybe the Irish Cream kicked in... 🤐 If you're in Lexington stop by but dont bother with carryout: just be present to savor the flavor. The menu titles may tap into your inner nerd and the drinks & eats will satisfy. Stay for the conversation. You're welcome 😊 ☕️🥐🤓

Old School Coffee is an absolute must-stop for us whenever we make the trip from Minnesota to Lexington, KY to visit family! The coffee is always excellent, and the service is even better — friendly, welcoming, and consistently top-notch every single visit. It has become one of our favorite traditions. If you’re passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in. Highly recommend!

This is such a solid coffee shop in Lexington! The theme is amazing. The original location is an old school so a lot of the decorations feel like an old schoolhouse, such as bells, chalkboards, etc. A lot of the drinks and food are named after school things, like “The Counselor” or “The Teacher”. The coffee is pretty good and there are great tea options as well, along with pastries. I really like the flavor options and their seasonal options. I will say that it’s probably not my favorite coffee out there, but the theme and flavors make it really stand out and it’s such a nice cozy spot to visit. I love the service. The employees are very great, quick, helpful, and friendly. I’ve never had any bad experiences here! It is a very popular place so it can get pretty packed sometimes and the line can be a bit long, but they do their best to manage it!! Atmosphere-wise, as you can tell, I love this place! Again, as I said, it can get pretty packed, so it is hard to come by an open table to sit at. I would be prepared that you might not actually have a place to sit and get work done and you might actually have to just take your coffee to go somewhere else. Hopefully, if you plan in advance to get there at an off-time or really early, you can get a spot! Obviously, due to the historical location, they can’t really expand, but maybe a few more tables added in the lobby area could be helpful!
