Grounded All Day on Cheapside might be the only place in Lexington where your coffee order sounds like a candle scent but tastes way better than it has any right to. I went with a blueberry bagel and lavender spread, which felt like a risky move for someone who usually plays it safe with plain cream cheese. Turns out, I’ve been living wrong. It was sweet, slightly floral, and somehow didn’t cross into “eating potpourri” territory. Honestly impressive. Then came the real star the s’mores mocha latte with cold foam. This thing tasted like a campfire and a coffee shop had a very successful collaboration. Rich chocolate, a hint of graham cracker, and that cold foam on top like a reward for making good life decisions. It was the kind of drink that makes you slow down and question why you ever settle for basic coffee. The vibe? Chill without trying too hard. Good spot to hang out, get some work done, or just sit there pretending you’re more productive than you actually are. The staff were very friendly and gave extraordinary service! 10/10. I came for coffee and accidentally had a full on flavor experience.
