Went for a quick Labor Day weekend trip to Lexington and had to try Funky Rooster Coffee Bar. I ordered the cookie butter latte, and it was delicious! Their cups are so cute, just make to ask for it to-go if you want their popular canned latte look. Super friendly staff, quick service, and great seating options!

I liked this place very much. Nice atmosphere, good pastries and coffee served nicely. Highly recommended and I will be definitely going back. 😊

Their Mountain Squall chamomile s very good with just a hint of spearmint. The spinach Feta quiche was tasty and fresh. Their pastries change frequently. We sat on the patio and it was a treat to sit and enjoy the tea.

Servers were nice, but waited a very long time for a cinnamon roll that was $7.50 and looked nothing like the one in the glass by the register. I should have asked the price before ordering. Finally got it and it was dry and flat tasting, nothing special by a long shot and definitely not worth what I paid. Tasted like something premade and frozen. Heating it up didn’t help and might have made it worse/dryer because it had some singed edges. It cost more than the iced mocha. The iced mocha was good and appropriately priced at $5, but nothing more special than I’ve had elsewhere. I usually don’t do reviews, but felt like this was so bad, I had to say something.
