West Sixth Brewing

A Lexington and Kentucky staple. Great if you love IPAs but, they have something for everyone. I'm not an IPA guy and this is my main watering hole. They have a great community and wonderful bartenders and a welcoming space. They also have a small selection of cocktails and no alcoholic drinks and some chips and finger foods. You can grab a variety of flights as is typical of any good brewery. They are attached to Smithtown Seafood which another great place. You can order food from your table in W6th and they'll bring it right to you.

I'm glad I finally got to visit. I've tried their brews over the years, but never got to sit down and have a fresh draft. The beer was good, and the servers were really cool and seemed happy to work there. I'll definitely stop in again.

I really love this spot. I love their flights and trying their wide variety of beers. I really like their sour, IPAs, and their Amber. I’m not a huge stout-lover, but I really liked what I tried. They even cycle in seasonal drinks too! I really liked the apple cider bourbon slushy they had, too, which was a pleasant surprise that I didn’t see coming!! They have a lot of different areas to sit so it’s not super crowded with tons of people standing and blocking walkways, which was also nice! I had a delicious burger from the restaurant next door (they bring food over to the brewery) and it had great beer cheese! They also had LOTS of power outlets, so I was able to get work done on my laptop! The employees were also fun to talk to and very kind. All around, it was a nice place to visit!

Great beer. Friendly bar tenders. Relaxed vibe. Cool place. CERVEZA WITH LIME (new release) 🇲🇽 lager LEMONGRASS AMERICAN WHEAT 💥 Both beers were fresh and crisp!

03/27: The Old Guys Pub Crawl added Stella's, down the street from West 6th, as a new bar/pub on our Old Guys Pub Crawl. We had some time left so naturally we returned to one of our favorite places. Sadly I forgot my West 6 mug I bought from their pop-up tent last year for a $$ savings. But that didn't stop me from downing their red beer. So, more photos. I threw in a photo of Scotch Club, You'll see a combined total of 172 years. Thanks West 6. (January 2026) and the old dudes, that are still kicking, returned for more beer and great food and another photo op. West 6 is a super favorite of the Old Guys Pub Crawl. We've have crawled here more than any other bar/pub from the 80-90 places we've been over the past two years. We bring first time guests to West 6. I don't mention food much but the seafood here is one of our top choice places.
