This was my first order from this bakery and it turned our great. I used their website last minute in the morning hours ordering a cake and a couple other treats and they were prepared and ready for me when I arrived around 15 hours later. They have a great selection and the store is beautiful. I recommend giving this place a try. The staff here is excellent and very kind offering tips on transporting the cake and making sure it stays perfect. I appreciate it and I'll be returning to try some of their other treats. I was pleasantly surprised I received what I saw in the pictures. The value of this place compared to chain grocery sheet cakes should be better recognized.

I’ve been getting my birthday cakes from this shop for a few years now and every time I’m blown away by how pretty they are and how absolutely delicious they taste! And on top of that, they are super easy to communicate with/are very thorough when taking custom orders, the prices are very reasonable, the space is super cute and clean, and the service is always top notch in/out of store. Highly recommend!!
P.S. this year I went with the strawberry cake and OH MY GODDDDD is that shit delicious!

Caramanda’s Bake Shop absolutely knocked it out of the park! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The Apple Fruit Flip had the perfect balance of flaky pastry and delicious apple filling. The Anzac Cookie was wonderfully chewy with great texture, and the Chess Bar was rich, buttery, and impossible to stop eating.
I also picked up three pup treats for my dogs, and they were an instant hit—they disappeared in seconds! It’s such a thoughtful touch to have something special for our four-legged family members.
To top it all off, I tried the Lexington Lua Dirty Soda, and it was a fun, refreshing treat that paired perfectly with the baked goods.
Friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and consistently excellent quality make Caramanda’s one of Lexington’s best local bakeries. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, dessert, or a treat for your dog, there’s something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back!

I reached out to Caramanda’s for a graduation cake and it could not have turned out better! It matched the design I shared with the team perfectly and flavor wise was delicious. I was also expecting the cost to be much more for how many asks I had, but in total it was very reasonable for the amount of hard work put in! Highly recommend!

I ordered a cake for my sister's surprise 40th birthday party. I was scheduled to pick the cake up on 4/4 at 2pm. The cake wasn't ready until 2:40 as myself and several others were told they were still decorating the cakes. Once we finally get to the birthday party and cut the cake it was the wrong type of cake! I ordered a marble cake and was given a strawberry cake. My sister is allergic to strawberries so we weren't even able to eat the cake! I called yesterday spoke with someone and emailed them the pictures of the inside of the cake which were clearly not the same as my invoice and was only given a partial refund! In my opinion this is TERRIBLE Customer service! They clearly took on more orders than they could handle for that day! I waited patiently for the cake in the bakery for 40 MINUTES past my pick-up time, making me late to the party only to not be able to even eat the cake due to my sister's allergy!
