I truly had the BEST experience at Rooster's Nest. I was kinda nervous as I cut off about 18 inches of my hair, but Allison completely calmed my nerves by listening to what I wanted, explained my hair and how it would sit, and was in depth about every step of the process. I would recommend ANYONE to get their hair cut here. The atmosphere is fun and light, and you'll get EXACTLY what you want or even better than you imagined. I will never go to anyone except Allison now!!

Hunter is awesome. I’m a Black queer woman with natural hair and he took the time to research how to cut my hair. He’s respectful, gives good hair care advice, and does the work to meet clients where they are. That’s much appreciated. I’d recommend people of color looking for a sharp fade to visit Hunter’s chair.

I’ve never liked my hair, it grows weird, so I’ve always dreaded haircuts. Previously I’d only gone to the big national chain haircut places. One of my coworkers recommended Roosters Nest so I tried it. This is the first haircut I’ve ever gotten that I’ve actually liked! The beard trim was great too. Shoutout to Chris, he was great.

This IS the best barber shop in Kentucky. Want a haircut that looks good and fits your style? Go see the folks at the Rooster's Nest. Don't forget to pick up hair products that are made in-house and, frankly, are the best I've ever used. Do yourself a favor, just go; you will not be disappointed!

Got an old fashioned straight razor headshave and beard outline and trim and it was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone was great especially my Barber Isaac! 15/10 Highly recommend.
