Salt & Vinegar

Gorgeous historic pub, excellent food, the house salt & vinegar fries were so delicious. Excellent beers on tap, friendly and helpful service! I had fish & chips, my husband had the schnitzel and said it was great.

We stopped by Salt & Vinegar around 3pm and it was a really relaxed, enjoyable stop. There were only a couple other groups there, which made it a nice calm environment for our family. The atmosphere inside is super cool with a cozy, laid-back vibe, and we loved that they had games available at the tables, which made the experience even more fun. Our toddler Pierce absolutely loved the chicken and dumpling soup and ate a ton of it. I personally found it a little peppery for my taste, but he clearly disagreed! Richie ordered the chicken wings and thought they were excellent. The staff were also very understanding about Pierce needing to move around a bit, which we really appreciated as parents traveling with a toddler. Overall a great casual spot with good food, fun vibes, and a family-friendly feel.

We went for lunch and We ordered a variety of dishes. I couldn’t eat my sandwich nor could my friend. It was the worst rueben sandwich I have ever had. Also, the burger & the potato dish were bad. The only thing good was the guy who served his. He was very nice.

Excellent new spring 2026 menu items. The duck breast is a must have. Rebecca at the upstairs bar easily guides through the new items!

Best kept surprise in Lexington! The food (Salt & Vinegar) is amazing! Really, top-notch! We had the spätzle and cant wait to try more. The cocktails are great, and the drafts, of course. The people were super nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful. What a great spot and somewhere that hit the top quality bell. We'll be back often... compliments to the chef(s)! And still hoping to find the brews (Ethereal) in stores!
