OBC Kitchen

Our experience at OBC Kitchen was incredible! The service was outstanding, and our waiter was so kind and attentive. He helped us celebrate our anniversary, answered all of our questions, and gave us amazing cocktail recommendations based on what we liked. The cocktails were unmatched, and the food was just as impressive. Don't skip the OBC Kitchen Salad, the salmon, or the mini donuts for dessert. Dipping the donuts in both the jam and chocolate as he suggested was absolutely delicious We kept talking about this meal for the rest of our trip. OBC Kitchen is a must visit, and we can't wait to come back! Make sure you make a reservation they do get busy!

First time here! I love a good Old Fashioned drink and saw they had a flight of that. The first two were great. Third (‘seasonal’) was a bit too fruity for me. I’d read reviews and had intention of ordering Bacon in a Glass. Our waiter said the other appetizers are equally as good. Hubby decided on the Elote Dip. I ate more of that than I planned- as it was THAT GOOD. Their soft warm rolls were also yummy. Ordered the Steak and Cake entree. The steak was perfectly cooked and had great flavor, overshadowing the crab cake. The ambiance here is warm and inviting. Open floor-plan but the lighting makes it more intimate. If you’re looking for a romantic date night, go early before it gets loud. I’m glad we came here. Believe I prefer it over Malone’s.

Food was great , service was even better. Bourbon list is extensive. BHG barrel pick of Stagg was phenomenal. My wife enjoyed her old fashioned. Scallops and wild mushrooms risotto was tasty, would have liked to seen a few more scallops on the plate. Wife had shrimp gnocchi, she loved it. Yes, get bacon in a glass. I'm not dessert guy but wife ordered some sort of lemon dessert. It was very good and refreshing. Even went home with a bottle of bourbon from one of their barrel picks. Must visit for us whenever we go back to Lexington.

The food is fantastic. We had the crab cakes and the pork belly tacos. Their salsa verde is to die for. Great cocktails and bourbon flights. Our server was very knowledgeable and the manager even brought us a water dropper for our flights. Highly recommend

Really great experience. Great service by Tom. Excellent cocktails, impressive whiskey list, and really good hearty food. We were glad we made the trek from our hotel in downtown Lexington to try this out and would easily recommend OBC Kitchen to others
