Corto Lima

Our family was in Lexington and looking for a new dining experience. Our server Amanda was awesome, seriously! She offered me the house hot sauce and cheerfully explained the ingredients. For me, it provided the next level of flavor. The food was delicious, starting with the tasty queso fundido appetizer (shishito peppers are mellow). The environment was eclectic and we were more than satisfied with the entire experience. Yep, we will be back next time we visit Lex!

Stopped by for a quick bite — the tamales were outstanding! I don’t typically expect a lot from a side salad but this one had a really good dressing. The vibe of the place and the service were pretty cool as well.

I have to give a huge thank you to Corto Lima for completely turning around what could have been a stressful start to my bachelorette weekend. After a restaurant nearby unexpectedly failed to honor a reservation for 8 people, we walked into Corto Lima hoping for a miracle. Even though we were a large group and had no reservation, the staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and gracious about finding space for us on a Saturday morning with such short notice. This experience gave me a completely newfound respect for the restaurant and the people who work there. Their hospitality genuinely stood out. On top of that, the food was incredible. The guac was especially delicious, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. What started as a disappointing situation quickly became one of the highlights of the weekend because of how well we were treated. Excellent service, excellent food, and genuine kindness go a long way. I will absolutely be back.

Just finishing my meal and had to take a min to leave this review. If you want authentic ingredients, amazing service, and a relaxing chill atmosphere, check it out! Kyra was an excellent server and was engaging and friendly.

I got pisco sour and anticucho. I'm Peruvian so I know those very very well and this place was amazing! My food was so delicious! And my drink just perfect. If I would live in Lexington, I would go this place constantly. 10 of 10.
