I was in the area for something else and stopped into Chevy Chase Hardware for a small item I needed. The folks there were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to help me find exactly what I was looking for—even though I wasn’t entirely sure myself. Even though I live right next to Lowe's, I'll continue to go to Chevy Chase hardware for all of the things I used to get at Lowes.

I have an old house and often things go wrong with it. This time it was the front door handle dropping and not engaging in the hardware. I took the worn out rod dohicky and they had a replacement in their wall of specialty screws, bolts, nuts, and other hardware. Super helpful staff who are also very friendly and knowledgeable. Love the old school hardware store.
